Incarnation is a Dirty Word
Ian Emery writes: "...incarnation is not about reinventing and compromising faith to fit into contemporary culture selling out, but is getting down and dirty: making the move to be amongst and one of whilst yet retaining purity and modelling holiness in the midst."

I think the beauty of incarnation is coming in and living with to show love and humility while remaining holy showing God's power.
It shows people Christianity is a way of living, not a new religion or culture.

You know I always choke at that saying, "cleanliness is next to Godliness". I am inclined to switch that right around, "earthy holiness is Christlikeness".
